Windows are associated with the ability to see clearly. If you are cleaning the window, you are increasing your awareness or ability to see something. If you are in a room without windows, the area of the psyche that the room represents is being shut off from everyday experiences. To open a window, you are opening to new ideas and perspectives. Covering windows with shutters blocks your ability to see clearly.
